Who it's for

For independent college consultants

The family that emailed at 11pm should still be yours at 9am.

This isn't marketing. It doesn't find you new families. It makes sure the referrals you already get don't go cold while you sleep, teach, or read essays.

The problem

Where the inquiry leaks

Families reach out when the house is quiet

Parents write after dinner, late on weeknights, and on Sunday afternoons. Your reply comes the next morning. By then some of them have already booked the next consultant on the list.

You are the whole front office

You're in a session, on a call with a family, or deep in a draft. Nobody is watching the inbox, and the form on your website lands in the same unwatched place.

Referrals are the most expensive leads to lose

A referred family costs you nothing to generate and arrives already trusting you. Losing one to silence is the worst kind of leak, and the one you can't see happening.

The busiest months leave the least room to answer

Inquiries peak August through December, exactly when your calendar is fullest. The old process fails hardest right when it matters most.

What we do

What the system does about it

  1. 01

A text back within a minute

When a parent fills out your form or calls and gets voicemail, they get a text back in your voice within a minute. At 11pm on a Tuesday, that's usually the only reply they receive that night.

  2. 02

    First questions answered

Whether you're taking new students this cycle, what grades you work with, how a first meeting runs. You decide what it can say. Anything about a specific student is handed to you, never guessed at.

  3. 03

An intro call on your calendar

The conversation ends with a booked first meeting and a record in one pipeline. No inquiry lives in a phone notification you meant to get back to.

  4. 04

    Inbound only, always

It responds to families who contacted you first. It doesn't advertise, doesn't cold-message anyone, and doesn't touch your referral relationships. Your practice stays a referral practice.

When to start

The build takes a few weeks, and you approve every line of script before it touches a real family. The best time to go live is before the August wave. The second best time is now, because the inquiries don't stop in between.

A note from the founder

Before Crimson Lane I was a tutor and college counselor. I've watched a family's inquiry go cold because nobody could reply until Monday. That moment is why this exists.

Questions

What independent college consultants ask us

Isn't this just marketing?

No. It doesn't generate referrals or run ads. It makes sure the referrals you already get hear back before they move on. If your business is all word of mouth, those are the leads worth protecting most.

What happens when a parent asks something specific about their student?

The system hands it to you. It answers the general questions you approve, such as whether you're taking new students, and passes anything about a particular student straight to you.

Will I lose the personal touch families come to me for?

The first text is written in your voice, and you approve every line. The system's job is to hold the door open until you can be the one on the call. Nothing substantive gets decided without you.

I already reply within a day. Is that a problem?

Ask yourself when the last inquiry came in outside business hours and what happened to it. Most consultants can't answer that confidently. If you can, and every one of them signed, you don't need this.

Want to see what it would say to a parent at 11pm?

A short call. We look at how inquiries reach you now, what happens after hours, and whether this is worth doing. If it isn't, we'll say so.
